Sometimes, a wheelchair just isn’t quite the right fit, and that is perfectly okay! We want to make the return process as simple and straightforward as possible for you.

If you need to send your wheelchair back, here is exactly how it works:

⏱️ The 14-Day Window

In recognition of the pace of modern life, our return period gives you 14 days from the day your wheelchair is delivered to let us know whether you would like to return it. Should you wish to return the wheelchair within this timeframe, we’ve got you covered.

📧 Return Initiation Process:

To start your return, please just drop us an email at hello@worldofwheelchairs.com. While we always love to chat with you on the phone, written confirmation is essential for initiating the return process. 

If the request for a return is made outside of the 14-day window, then a restocking fee of at least 20% may apply to you.

Express shipping note: If you chose our Express Shipping option and your delivery arrived within the stipulated time, a refund for your Express Shipping is not applicable. Some of our top priorities are to ensure prompt delivery and hassle-free returns.

✨ Wheelchair Condition:

You absolutely need to test your new wheelchair to ensure that it is comfy and right for you. We just ask that you keep your test drives strictly indoors. Any outside use (or anything that devalues the chair) cannot be refunded in full.

To qualify for a full refund, the wheelchair must be returned to us in its original, pristine condition.

Please note: if the wheelchair shows signs of outdoor use, damage, or any wear and tear, a restocking fee of at least 20% will be deducted from your final refund.

💭 How to return your wheelchair:
The first step to returning your wheelchair is to contact us at hello@worldofwheelchairs.com with all of the information regarding why you wish to return your wheelchair.

Please note that return shipping charges are at your cost, and we cannot reimburse. Alternatively, for an easier collection, we can book for the courier to come and collect the parcel from your delivery address. This will be at a courier fee of £29, deductible from your refund.
